Summit Elementary School (4K-6)
Opened in fall 2003, Summit Elementary School at Pabst Farms is the newest school in the Oconomowoc Area School District. For the 2007/08 school year, Summit is expanding its popular 4-year old kindergarten program as well as the district-wide foreign language program at the elementary school level to include 5th and 6th grades. Fine arts continues to be a hallmark of the district, and at Summit a full music program is available in 4th-6th grades, including full orchestra,  band and choir.  Also popular is before-and-after school care offered next door through the YMCA at Pabst Farms.


Two New Oconomowoc Middle Schools(6-8) Planned
Important bond referendums passed in fall, 2006 for construction of two new middle schools. Both are expected to open for the 2008/09 school year.

New Facilities Coming to Oconomowoc High School
Two new state-of-the-art facilities are planned for the high school. First, a 750 sq.ft. Performing Arts Center is expected to open in fall 2008 complete with professional capacity stage, costume shop, lobby and concession area. To benefit the community at large, national touring companies are planned. Also opening in fall 2008 is a new expansive Field House complete with indoor running track and areas for long jump and pole vaulting. It will be designed to hold indoor track meets.

Oconomowoc High School Leads the Way with World-Class Programs
Outstanding programs at the high school include the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program and the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering program, with course work offered in collaboration with Marquette University’s Engineering School.  A popular state-certified Nursing Assistant Program is being offered, providing clinical experience to students interested in a variety of medical careers. Competing regionally and nationally this year is the award-winning Robotics team.

Summer School Enrichment
Extensive enrichment opportunities are planned for elementary, middle school and high school students through the expanding 2008 Summer School program.
